Deqa’s expertise lies in program assessment, creative solutions, and forming courageous learning spaces with a deep focus on ethical responsibility. She also brings a track record of developing innovative programs and training initiatives focused on reducing disparities and promoting a culture of inclusion.
With an extensive skill set encompassing training, coaching, compliance, program development, public speaking, conflict resolution, and strategic planning, she focuses on empowering leaders to create inclusive spaces and foster positive change. She brings a deep passion and commitment to equity, social justice, and creating a meaningful impact in organizations and communities.
Deqa holds a master’s degree in education with a concentration in Multicultural Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminology. She continues to pursue various related professional developments, including certifications in Critical Race Theory, Diversity and Inclusion, Intercultural Development, and a Mastery Certificate in Global Mental Health and Refugee Trauma from Harvard Medical School.
